Despite their differences, the four boys band together to help Sang-mi and her family escape from the clutches of the New Truth Church. Along the way, they must navigate a dangerous web of lies, betrayal, and violence.

Throughout the series, the characters grapple with issues of faith, family, loyalty, and morality. The show explores the ways in which people can be manipulated and brainwashed by charismatic leaders, and how difficult it can be to break free from such a hold.
