It's ants versus monkeys as Peque and Raymundo race their toy car against the bike-riding Oscar and Tina. But when the aunts' car gets stuck in quicksand, the race becomes getting that toy out before the quicksand swallows it! The Save-Ums make a rope out of a vine, and the monkeys hang upside from a tree so they can loop the rope around the car. Working together, they're able to save the car and resume the race. First one to the bamboo pole wins!Winston can't reach an itchy spot on his back and is using the Golf Emporium as a scratching post! The Save-Ums and Andre the Super Seahorse improvise a back-scratcher out of a golf club and conch shell. Now Winston can play golf and scratch his back whenever he pleases!

Winston Whale worries that his doll, Betty Barnacle, is lonely whenever he's away. By using things from the sea -- a sponge, some rope, and a seashell -- the Save-Ums are able to make a sweet and seaworthy friend for Winston and Betty to love. Now Betty has a doll pal to keep her company: Sadie Seaberry!Poor bats Colin and Elizabat need help with Colin's toy robot, which won't stop beeping and buzzing and wheeling up and down the walls of their cave! The Save-Ums finally capture the errant toy and discover the ON/OFF switch isn't working. By removing the toy's batteries, they're able to put a stop to the noise before fixing the ON/OFF switch. Now Colin can play with his toy, without the toy going out of control!

Baby Dino is so cranky and upset that his heavy stomping is causing the volcano to rumble and quake! With the Save-Ums' help, Raymundo and Peque realize that Baby Dino is cranky because he wants a nap. A "Rockabye Dino" lullaby sung by little Peque on the SeƱor Microphone puts Baby Dino to sleep, and calms down the volcano, proving that "small is powerful!"/Crabs Tony and Sal were teaching Olena the flamenco dance when Olena got a splinter in one of her tentacles! Olena insists the splinter isn't a problem, until she admits she's scared pulling out the splinter will hurt. With her friends reassuringly at her side, and improvising a clam shell castanet as tweezers, the Save-Ums pull out that splinter and Olena is back to dancing in no time!

Today's the day for Winston to perform at the Wave World Beat Poetry Party, but Winston must pick his wave melons while they're at the peak of perfection. The Save-Ums help Winston make his show by videotaping his poetry performance, so Winston can stay in his garden, while his videotaped performance plays out at the Poetry Party!Peque and Raymundo's little hopscotch board gets erased every time Baby Dino attempts to join in the game. The Save-Ums realize that while there isn't enough chalk to make a dino-sized pattern, they can use the Zoomer to etch out a hopscotch board in the sand! Peque and Raymundo discover that hopscotch is a game for everyone, big or small!
