Secrets of Aspen is a reality television series that focuses on the wealthy socialites of Aspen, Colorado's ski country. The various men and women on the show face drama after drama. The series starts with the Summer Kickoff party with many part-time residents returning to Aspen for the ski season.

Laura is one of the most controversial residents in Aspen and she ends up stealing another woman's man which causes a fight between her and her best friend Brooke. Their fight ends up getting incredibly nasty and they end up having a really public fight. Brooke is a photographer and she ends up getting a gig that requires her to photograph some of the hottest people in Aspen. Of course, Brooke leaves Laura out.

The girls' fight spills over when Aspen hosts a Sexy Singles fundraiser. All of the girls in town want to be the one that most of the guys bid on so they scheme and plot their way to get attention. Meanwhile Laura feels bad for stealing another girl's boyfriend earlier in the summer and she tries to make amends. However, things do not go her way. Brooke also hosts a massive party to celebrate her 25th birthday and invites everybody in Aspen except for Laura. Even without Laura, the party is not drama free as other girls fight too. Even though Brooke is working on making a whole new group of friends to hang out with, Laura is not content to leave her alone. She does her best to make friends with Brooke's new friends and cause drama there as well. Meanwhile another girl, Erin, is experiencing drama of her own when her ex-boyfriend comes into town and threatens to sabotage her new relationship. Erin ends up feeling so conflicted over the two men that she breaks up with her current beau and decides to be single for awhile. She also takes sides with Brooke in her battle against Laura. There is no shortage of drama in Secrets of Aspen.
