Ep 1. Anchors Away

Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) is back in New York City after spending a good portion of season 4 in Paris. Upon her arrival, she finds herself a new apartment in the Meatpacking District, and is excited to get back into the swing of things with her three best friends, Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis).

In the season 5 opener, "Anchors Away," the ladies find themselves dealing with various relationship struggles. Carrie is uncertain about her feelings for her on-again, off-again lover Aidan (John Corbett), while Samantha tries to navigate a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend in Los Angeles.
