Ep 12. Ready, Set ... Pedal!

In Shipping Wars Season 4 Episode 12, titled "Ready, Set... Pedal!," the teams of shippers are tasked with transporting a variety of uniquely shaped and sizeable items, including a 1970s bicycle, a custom-made Dr. Who Tardis, and a giant caterpillar excavator. As always, the shippers must hustle to secure the most profitable jobs and navigate the challenges of driving their cargo across the country.

Jennifer Brennan, known for her cowboy hat and tough demeanor, is up against new arrival Dusty Dixon, a motorcycle enthusiast with a lot to prove. Jennifer manages to snag the job transporting the Dr. Who Tardis from Texas to New York City, with a hefty payday of $3,000 on the line. Dusty, however, is not deterred and attempts to outbid her on the other jobs available, eventually securing the job of moving the giant excavator for a respectable $4,000 payout.

Elsewhere, Marc Springer is tasked with transporting a 1970s Schwinn bicycle from Washington to Las Vegas. Marc knows the value of the vintage bicycle and negotiates a deal for $1,800, much to the satisfaction of the bicycle's owner. Meanwhile, Todd and Tamera Sturgis are up against the odds when they take on the challenge of transporting an enormous, 37-ton excavator from Texas to New York. The job presents a whole host of logistical obstacles, from navigating inadequate roadways to securing the proper permits.

As the shippers hit the road, various mishaps and challenges arise, from Dusty's motorcycle trailer malfunctioning mid-transport to Marc facing steep mountain terrain with his bicycle hitched to the back of his truck. Jennifer must also grapple with the delicate logistics of transporting the Tardis and keeping it safe from damage. Despite the setbacks, the shippers soldier on, determined to deliver their cargo on time and make a profit in the process.

Throughout the episode, viewers are treated to plenty of banter and tension between the shippers, as well as an inside look at the cutthroat world of the shipping industry. Will Jennifer's carefully planned strategy pay off in the end? Can Dusty prove himself as a formidable competitor? Will Todd and Tamera successfully navigate the mammoth excavator to its destination?
