The television series entitled Shut Up and Lets Go tells the story about a group of high school students who are members of a rock band, their challenges and how they try to overcome them together. Joo Byung-hee is the leader of the band and also doubles as the main vocalist of another less popular rock band called the Eye candy. Joo is known for his free spirited nature and also his unusual insane behaviors at times. The other members of the band include Lee Hyun-soo, Kim Ha-jin the playboy, Jang Do-il who is the most quiet member of the group as well as Seo Kyung-jong the childish one. These guys attend the same institution and enjoy a beautiful friendship together as they all work hard to ensure the success of the band.

One day the boys receive information that their school will be closed down. They love this school so much because it allows them to exhibit their delinquent behavior just like the other students. Other schools in the area are more organized and disciplined with no history of young delinquent students. These boys therefore have the challenge to select the appropriate school that will suit their unruly behavior. They decide not to enroll in any school again but instead drop out and concentrate on music.

Shortly after they decide to go and study at Junsang High School so that they can face the school's leading band known as Strawberry Fields and take over the leadership of the school. Just as they wanted, as soon as they get to their new school they start having serious confrontations with the members of Strawberry Fields.

The series was written by Seo Yoon-hee and directed by Lee Kwon. The sixteen episodes series aired on channels such as South Korean Television. The characters in the series include actors and actresses such as Sung Joon starring as Kwon Ji-hyuk who was the lead guitarist, Kim Myung-soo starring as Lee Hyun-soo who is very caring but has a high temper. Lee Hyun-jae starring as Jang Do-il, who is the most quiet member of the group, Kim Min-seok starring as Seo Kyung-jong. Yoo Min-kyu starring as Kim Ha-jin, Jo Bo-ah starring as Im Soo-ah and Jung Eui-chul starring as Yoo.
