Ep 1. And the Box was Opened

Rookie actress Kyoko Mogami's dreams of finding her true love are dashed when her childhood friend and long-time crush Sho Fuwa tells her that he only sees her as a housekeeper. Shocked and heartbroken, Kyoko vows to get her revenge by becoming a bigger star than Sho and making him regret ever treating her that way.

With no skills or connections, Kyoko moves to Tokyo with her suitcase and determination to become a star. She meets a man named Shingo who takes pity on her and helps her find a job as a janitor at a talent agency called LME. While cleaning the agency's waiting room, Kyoko overhears someone talking about Sho’s upcoming audition for a role in a popular drama called "Lory Takarada's Bridge." Fueled by jealousy and spite, Kyoko sneaks into the audition room to watch Sho’s audition and properly witness his success.

However, she soon discovers that Sho had no intention of taking the role, as he only used it as leverage to negotiate better terms for his own debut into the entertainment world. Furious at his deceit, Kyoko vows to become even more famous than Sho, and to surpass him not just in acting but in everything.

As Kyoko leaves the audition room, she accidentally bumps into Lory Takarada himself, the president of LME. To her surprise, Lory takes an interest in Kyoko and even offers to help her become a star. Thrilled by this unexpected opportunity, Kyoko vows to do whatever it takes to impress Lory and fulfill her revenge against Sho.

Filled with determination and some unlikely allies, Kyoko dives headfirst into the cutthroat world of show business. But with numerous obstacles and rivals in her way, can Kyoko truly succeed in becoming a star, or will she succumb to the pressures and harsh realities of the entertainment industry?
