Ep 10. Luck Of The Draw

Feeling guilty about the injustice he has experienced, Quinn decides to help Lenny by giving him the sliders' lottery numbers, as he knows the winning numbers from the future. Quinn believes that Lenny should have the chance to win and turn his life around.

Lenny is delighted that someone has shown him any kindness and, with Quinn's numbers, he goes to buy a lottery ticket. However, once Lenny wins, the group begins to regret their actions as they realize that their interference may have unforeseeable consequences.

Lenny quickly becomes overwhelmed by his newfound wealth and starts to forget about his former life. He begins buying extravagantly and contracts a very expensive lifestyle. He ditches the friends who stuck with him throughout his struggling years and begins overindulging.

Meanwhile, the sliders learn that their lottery numbers hindered someone else from winning. The man who would have won is now destitute, homeless and completely broke. The group begins to feel torn over whether their actions were right or wrong.

To make matters worse, people begin to get increasingly envious of Lenny's newfound wealth and begin to target him. He starts getting mugged regularly and feels like he has lost his safety despite having all the money he ever wanted.

This episode is filled with action and moral dilemmas. The show uses the lottery system to highlight the issue of inequality and explore the moral question of whether one should interfere with another's life choices. The episode ends well and leaves the viewers with a lot to think about.
