Ep 10. Marjorie Orbin

Marjorie Orbin, the protagonist of the 10th episode of season 12 of Snapped was just another suburban housewife before her life turned upside down. With an enviable life complete with a loving husband, a beautiful house, and two kids, she had everything she could possibly want. However, all that changed when her husband Jay Orbin went missing and the search for him uncovers a gruesome mystery.

The couple had met when Marjorie was working as an exotic dancer in Las Vegas. When they married and moved to Arizona, they started a business dealing with exotic birds. Jay was a dedicated bird enthusiast and was passionate about the welfare of birds. Marjorie too became a bird enthusiast and together they built a life focused on their shared love for the creatures.

It was on a trip to Mexico for a bird show that things take a turn. Jay disappears and Marjorie reports him missing. Initially, everyone including the police thought that Jay was probably just caught up in some bird trafficking and business deals gone awry. However, as the investigation progressed, shocking things came to light.

It is revealed that Marjorie had been leading a double life. She was not the loving wife and devoted mother that she appeared to be. She was also a call girl and had been servicing clients in an attempt to make more money. It is also revealed that she had been cheating on Jay with other men and had even stolen a rare bird from one of their clients.

As more evidence came to light, it seemed that Marjorie had played a more significant role in the disappearance of her husband than was initially thought. Investigators find the remains of Jay in Marjorie's storage unit along with a refrigerator containing human remains that turned out to be from a different victim. She was arrested and charged with murder.
