Spider-Woman aired on ABC from 1979-1980 for 16 episodes. The show was based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name, and followed the adventures of Jessica Drew (played by Joan Van Ark), a human who gained spider-like abilities after being injected with an experimental serum by her father.

The show opened with a catchy theme song that introduced the audience to the character and her powers. Each episode saw Spider-Woman fighting crime and battling villains with her unique abilities, including super strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls with her hands and feet.

In addition to her superhuman abilities, Spider-Woman also had a number of gadgets at her disposal, including a wrist-mounted spider-emitting device that allowed her to swing from building to building, as well as a web-shooter similar to the one used by Spider-Man.

Over the course of the series, Spider-Woman faced a number of different enemies, from the famous Spider-Man villain The Vulture to a group of alien invaders from outer space. Along the way, she also teamed up with other heroes from the Marvel universe, including Captain America and the X-Men.

One of the standout features of Spider-Woman was its animation style. The show was produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, the animation studio behind classic cartoons such as The Pink Panther and Looney Tunes. The animation style was very similar to these older shows, with bold colors, exaggerated character designs, and a focus on humor and action.

Despite its relatively short run, Spider-Woman has become a cult classic among fans of both the character and old-school animation. The show has been released on DVD and streaming services, and is still enjoyed by a new generation of viewers.

Overall, Spider-Woman was a fun and exciting superhero show that captured the spirit of the Marvel comics it was based on. With its unique animation style and memorable theme song, the show is a beloved piece of pop culture history that continues to entertain fans of all ages.

Spider-Woman is a series that is currently running and has 1 seasons (16 episodes). The series first aired on September 22, 1979.
