Ep 26. Time's Arrow (Part 1)

In Star Trek: The Next Generation season 5 episode 26, entitled "Time's Arrow (Part 1)," the crew of the Enterprise find themselves facing an unexpected adventure when an archaeological dig on Earth uncovers a mysterious portal. The crew's mission to prevent these aliens from interfering with history comes to a head when Data becomes trapped in the past, and the rest of the team races to find a way to bring him home. Along the way, they must navigate treacherous waters filled with characters both good and evil, and they soon discover that the timeline they are seeking to protect may be in imminent danger.

With thrilling action, clever twists, and a richly detailed portrayal of the past, "Time's Arrow (Part 1)" is a standout episode in the Star Trek canon.
