Ep 12. Cathexis

The crew of the USS Voyager is faced with a new challenge when an unknown entity begins to possess members of the crew. When Chakotay falls into a coma-like state after being attacked by an alien race, the crew becomes concerned that the alien entity may be responsible. As they work to uncover the source of the possession, they discover that it is linked to Chakotay's attacker and it may be their only way to save him.

As the entity continues to possess different members of the crew, including Tuvok and Kes, they begin to work together to try and fight it off. However, as they delve deeper into the mystery they learn that the entity has a different agenda altogether - one that could potentially endanger the entire ship.

As the crew faces this new danger, they also must navigate the interpersonal relationships on board. Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres must decide whether they are ready to take their relationship to the next level, while Neelix struggles to come to terms with Kes growing powers.

Amidst the chaos, the crew must work together to overcome the threat that is possessing them and save Chakotay from certain doom. With each twist and turn, they come closer to uncovering the truth behind the possession and the alien race responsible for it.

As the episode comes to a close, the crew is left with a newfound understanding of the dangers that lurk in the Delta Quadrant. With new challenges ahead, they must band together to face whatever comes their way.
