Strawberry 100% is a romantic-comedy anime series adapted from the manga written and illustrated by Mizuki Kawashita. The show centers around Junpei Manaka, a high school student who dreams of becoming a filmmaker. His life takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally takes a picture of a girl's panties and becomes infatuated with her. The girl's panties have a distinctive strawberry pattern, which is where the title of the show comes from. Junpei embarks on a quest to find this mysterious girl in order to confess his feelings to her.

The show features an ensemble cast of characters, each with their own unique quirks and personalities. Eriko Kawasaki stars as Yui Minamoto, Junpei's childhood friend and neighbor. Yui is a tomboy who excels in sports and has a crush on Junpei. Kenichi Suzumura voices Junpei Manaka, the main protagonist of the series. Junpei is somewhat of a daydreamer who has a tendency to get himself into awkward situations. Mamiko Noto plays Aya Toujo, the girl who Junpei takes a picture of. Aya is a talented actress who attends a prestigious performing arts school. Despite her success, she struggles with her confidence and is not comfortable being in the public eye.

Nana Mizuki voices Tsukasa Nishino, an aspiring journalist who develops a crush on Junpei. Tsukasa is diligent and ambitious, but also prone to jealousy and can be quite competitive. Yuji Ueda plays Sotomura, Junpei's best friend. Sotomura is a bit of a playboy and often gives Junpei advice on how to win over the ladies. Mikako Takahashi voices Misuzu Sotomura, Sotomura's sister. Misuzu is flirtatious and enjoys teasing Junpei, but also has a kind and caring side.

Takagi Vataru plays Hiroshi Sotomura, Junpei's rival in the film club. Hiroshi is arrogant and has a history of butting heads with Junpei. Megumi Toyoguchi voices Chinami Hashimoto, a member of the film club who has a crush on Hiroshi. Chinami is shy and reserved, but also talented in her own right. Mitsuki Saiga plays Rika Shirakibara, another member of the film club who has a crush on Junpei. Rika is outgoing and flirty, but also somewhat naive. Sanae Kobayashi voices Kozue Mukai, a classmate of Junpei's who is quite popular with the boys. Kozue is cheerful and friendly, but also has a bit of a mischievous side.

The show follows Junpei as he navigates his complicated love life and pursues his dream of becoming a filmmaker. Along the way, he must overcome various obstacles and challenges, both personal and professional. The show is filled with comedic moments, as well as heartfelt and emotional scenes.
