Ep 18. Brown Trembler

Tessa, a teenage girl, moves from New York to the suburbs with her father George. In this episode, titled "Brown Trembler," Tessa and Ryan Shay's relationship takes a turn when Ryan reveals a secret about himself to Tessa, causing her to question whether she really knows him. Meanwhile, George finds himself in an awkward position when Sheila Shay asks for his help in dealing with Fred. Fred has been acting strangely and Sheila believes that George is the only one who can help him. George, who is already overwhelmed with his own problems, reluctantly agrees to help. However, when he gets involved, he realizes that there is more to Fred's behavior than meets the eye. Meanwhile, Dallas tries to help Dalia get over her breakup with Jeremy by taking her on a shopping spree. However, her efforts go awry when Dalia's mind starts to wander and she ends up finding a new hobby. The episode ends with Tessa and Ryan having a heart-to-heart conversation about their future, while George tries to deal with his own problems and help others at the same time.
