Watch Sullivan & Son

The television series known as Sullivan and Son is a program with a series of funny aspects intended to make people laugh. The idea behind the series was developed by Robert Long and Steve Byrne. The series is aired on TBS. The executive producers for the series include Vince Vaughn, Robert Long as well as Peter Billingsley.

It all started when Steve who was a trained corporate lawyer decided to quit his job and get into entrepreneurship by running one of his father's businesses which was a bar. His parents Jack and Jodi long were so surprised at his decision but could not convince him to retain his job as he had already quit working.

Steve's decision stemmed from the fact that he found out his sixty year old father who was tired of the business had plans of selling the bar and him not being in support of that thought the best he could do was to take over the business.

As determined as he was Steve took over control of the bar and knew he had to make his parents understand that they did not have to intervene in the affairs of the business anymore as he was now the new owner. The bar was well known and popular to the inhabitants of the area and had quite a good number of people who always went there to have fun and spend quality time with friends. Some of which included Hank and Carol.

The bar was closed down for the first time since its existence after Steve refused to pay a bribe to the health inspector who came over to check the bar.

The characters in the series included Steve Byrne who starred as Steve Sullivan, Dan Lauria as Jack Sullivan, Jodi Long starring as Cha Sullivan, Owen Benjamin as Owen Walsh Steve's trusted friend, Brian Murray starring as Hank Murphy, Christine Ebersole as Carol, Vivian Bang as Susan Sullivan, Steve's sister, Valerie Azlynn as Melanie Sutton.

  • Carol reconnects with a handsome man, but the situation becomes complicated when Owen is eager to spend time with him. Ok Cha battles it out against Roy in an eating contest.

  • The wife of a "regular" shows up and reveals he has passed away. Unfortunately, the gang struggles to remember who he was.

  • In the third season premiere, Susan and Jason's relationship is put to the test. Meanwhile, Jack and Hank are on opposing sides in a Civil War reenactment.

  • The bar's chances of winning the annual karaoke contest dwindle when Carol starts dating a handsome singer and Owen gets jealous.

  • A prank war commences. Susan helps Carol through a difficult audit. Fortunately, the auditor is a man.

  • Ok Cha gets injured in a traffic accident with Gary.

  • Jack decides to run for the open seat in the City Council after the untimely death of Councilman Ryan. The competition heats up.

  • Steve and the bar crowd are concerned that Hank is losing his mind when he is visited by a vision of Wheel of Fortune's PAT SAJAK (guest-starring as himself).

  • Steve's values are tested when Ruth, an innocent Amish girl, enters the bar on her Rumspringa, searching for a man to give her a "wooden bird."

  • Steve is the new coach of the bar's peewee hockey team, but when he finds out he's up against his childhood rival Lyle Winkler, he reconsiders his "everybody plays" game plan. Meanwhile, Ok Cha meets her "free pass."

  • Steve holds a Ladies' Night to improve his reputation on social media. A newly made-over Melanie gets hit on. And Hank unknowingly courts a Filipino ladyboy named Angel.

  • Steve goes out with a woman with questionable values, while Melanie dates an annoying nicknamer, and Owen dates someone just a little too close to home.

  • When Susan's overachieving husband visits the bar, he makes a life changing decisions that reflects Steve's. Melanie starts a support group for confused sports fans.
