Sungkyunkwan Scandal is a historical drama series set in the Joseon Dynasty in South Korea. The show follows the story of a young woman named Kim Yoon-hee who disguises herself as her brother, Kim Yoon-shik, in order to attend the prestigious Sungkyunkwan University and avoid being forced into an arranged marriage.
In episode 13, tensions are running high as Yoon-hee finds herself caught in the middle of a political power struggle between different factions at the university. Meanwhile, tensions in the royal court reach a boiling point as factions jockey for power and influence.
As Yoon-hee struggles to maintain her disguise and protect her true identity, she finds herself drawn to Lee Sun-joon, a fellow scholar at the university who has been her ally and confidant throughout her time at Sungkyunkwan. But as their relationship deepens, Yoon-hee begins to worry that she may be putting both of them in danger.

But as the stakes grow higher and the pressure mounts, Yoon-hee realizes that she must rely on her own intelligence and resourcefulness in order to survive.
Despite the challenges facing her, Yoon-hee remains determined to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy at Sungkyunkwan and bring justice to those responsible for the violence and oppression that have plagued the university for too long. As the season reaches its climax, Yoon-hee's courage and determination will be put to the test as she navigates the treacherous waters of Joseon-era politics and strives to protect the people she loves.
