Ep 8. Hibbing 911

Sheriff Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster) calls Agent Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Agent Dean (Jensen Ackles) to Hibbing, Minnesota to investigate a double homicide. Upon arriving, they notice that a group of women who are part of a Sheriff's retreat are present to help with the investigation. Donna is ecstatic to see the brothers again and welcomes their assistance.

As the investigation progresses, it becomes apparent that the victims were killed by a monster. The three women are shaken and uneasy as they begin to realize that monsters are real and in their town. While investigating, Sam and Dean see a pattern in the monster's killings and decide to separate and investigate different leads.

Sam is paired with Joyce (Kim Rhodes), a seasoned detective who has been hunting monsters for years. The two find a clue that points to the monster being a creature that feeds on the pituitary glands of its victims. They narrow down their search to a local health spa run by Marjorie (Pamela Roylance), where the staff has been abducting and killing patrons. They learn that Marjorie has been harvesting pituitary glands from her customers and selling them on the black market. Sam and Joyce are able to kill Marjorie and put a stop to the monster's killings.

Meanwhile, Dean is partnered with Jody (Kim Rhodes), a Sheriff who has experienced the supernatural and is still recovering from her encounter with vampires. Dean and Jody investigate a local brewery that is known for its unique brews. They find that the brewery's owner, Randy (Christian Campbell), is creating a new beer that contains the pituitary glands of humans, which is what is fueling the monster's cravings.

Dean and Jody's investigation leads them to an epic confrontation with the monster at the brewery, during which they are able to destroy the monster and put an end to the killings.

Throughout the episode, Sam and Dean discuss the possibility of Jody and Donna joining their team, recognizing their strength and aptitude in hunting monsters. Donna ultimately declines the offer, but Jody appears to be open to the possibility.

Hibbing 911 is an action-packed episode that introduces new characters and showcases the brothers' ability to work with others to solve cases. It also provides a glimpse into the lives and experiences of those who are involved in the world of hunting monsters.
