Ep 12. Bounty or Bust

As a swampy crawls with mysterious creatures, alligator hunters brave the waters to capture the ancient beasts. Season 6 episode 12 of Swamp People is titled "Bounty or Bust". In this riveting episode, the hunters are racing against the clock to meet their quotas before the season is over. With only a few days left, their chances of capturing the alligators they need to fill their wallets and maintain their livelihoods is becoming increasingly slim.

Several hunters, including Troy, are having an especially difficult time this season. The gators are either too small, too fast, or too scarce to capture. For Troy, a situation like this could spell the end of his business. Determined to overcome the slim odds, he tries a new technique that could make or break the remainder of his season. Meanwhile, other hunters are facing different challenges.

Bruce and son-in-law Clint have already reached their limit. However, they quickly discover that there is still money to be made - but with a new twist. They take on the challenge of catching a massive bullfrog that has taken over one of their hunting spots. Hunting for bullfrogs is a completely different experience, requiring unique techniques and tools.

Elsewhere on the swamp, the Landrys have already met their quota, but that does not mean they can rest easy. With only a couple of weeks left in the season, they could still make a profitable amount. Terral has a big goal and scheme in mind that could end the season with a bang, but to meet it, they will have to catch one final monster. With the stakes high and the gator elusive, there's no telling if they'll succeed or return home empty-handed.

On the other hand, Brazilian couple Liz and Edson have had minimal success since arriving in Louisiana. Even though Edson is working on a new method, they still cannot figure out what they are doing wrong. Their lack of experience is becoming more evident each day, and time is running out for them.

In this episode, the fate of the hunters is at stake as they all race to complete their quotas.
