Taburakashi is a Japanese TV drama about a woman named Maki. Maki arrives in Tokyo hoping to be an actress. She was part of a group of actors who basically used her then disbanded. She is left with a large debt and has to do small, tiresome shows to survive. She has all kinds of roles and works all kinds of hours. She often has no time to do anything else, including sleep. However, she has to do this to survive. All she wants is to make it big as an actress. Can she ever get to this point in her life?
