Ep 18. The Leftover Thermalization

Celebrating an uneventful day, Sheldon and Howard embark on a journey to clean out their office refrigerator as they realize they have leftovers that have been in there for far too long. With Bernadette tagging along to ensure they don't get distracted, the trio make their way through the maze of food containers, discovering remnants of "Biosphere Brownies," a pickled egg that Sheldon had intended to use for a science experiment, and a moldy sandwich that's probably been abandoned since before Howard went to space.

Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny decide to have a romantic dinner at home, only to have their night ruined by a minor disagreement. As they try to work through their issues, they realize that their friends are being annoyingly loud while cleaning out the fridge in the next room.

Back at the apartment, Raj contemplates his living situation and whether or not he should stay with Emily. He confides in Stuart, who gives his opinion on the matter (to Raj's annoyance), but it's ultimately up to Raj to make the decision.

As the night goes on, tensions rise with the group as they struggle to agree on what to do with the stubborn leftovers and whose responsibility it is to clean the fridge. In the end, they realize that their petty arguments have been escalating and causing unnecessary stress, and they make amends with one another.
