Ep 7. The Unwelcome Houseguest

Rob Petrie's friend Oscar leaves his wife and moves in with Rob and Laura. When Oscar becomes a houseguest from hell, Rob tries to help reconcile him and his wife, but his meddling only makes things worse. Meanwhile, Laura tries unsuccessfully to get Oscar to move out, but her hospitality leads to more trouble. Eventually, Rob intervenes again, this time with more positive results, as Oscar realizes he wants to reconcile with his wife and ends up leaving Rob and Laura's home. In the end, the Petries are relieved to have their home back to themselves. The episode touches on themes of marriage, friendship, and the difficulties of living with others.
