The Edison family become charmed by the amazing adventure stories of world famous balloonist Maurice Lafayette, who is in town while his daughter Elaine to raise funds for their next spectacular expedition. Comedy and high flying adventure follow when Tom pursues a romantic interest in Elaine, and Pauls dream to become an apprentice balloonist takes flight, forcing Annie and Tom to bring a few imaginations back down to earth.
