Watch The Emperor's New School

The Emperor's New School is an animated television show that aired in the United States between 2006 and 2008. The show lasted 2 full seasons. Walt Disney Television Animation produces the show, where each episode follows the adventures of a young emperor named Kuzco. The goal of Kuzco is for him to finish up his education so that he can get back to being the emperor. However, there are many obstacles in his way including his rivals and his own laziness.

The shows features voice-over work from J.P. Manoux, Jessica DeCicco, Fred Tatasciore, John Goodman, Wendie Malick, Jessie Flower, Eartha Kitt, and Patrick Warburton. Additionally, the show provides guest roles for Miley Cyrus, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Joey Lawrence.

The series opens up by establishing what Kuzco must do to return to his role as emperor. Then we are introduced to Yzma. Yzma, voiced by Eartha Kitt, is out to prevent Kuzco from graduating. She is also Kuzco's biggest rival, and has been for a long time. The first episode then presents Kuzco with his first challenge against his biggest rival. Kuzco has to beat Yzma in a race, or else he fails the class.

As Kuzco attempts to carefully make his way through school, he meets new friends and new enemies. Along the journey to graduation, Kuzco will find love and form close bonds with his new friends. However, it is important for him to remain focused. Otherwise, his biggest threat, Yzma, will get the better of him. If that happens he will never return to the throne.

Each episode runs for 22 minutes, and each episode usually features one to two separate stories. From season 1 to season 2, a lot of the characters are voiced by different actors. For example, John Goodman replaced Fred Tatasciore in the second season.

The Emperor's New School Full Episode Guide

  • Yzma's plan to wipe Kuzco out of the Royal Records backfires when Kronk replaces Kuzco on the records after rescuing the Royal Record Keeper. To repeal this change Kuzco and Yzma team up until the former Emperor-to-be recognizes his chance and turns against her.

  • Yzbot: Yzma leaves Kronk in charge of a robotic version of herself while she goes off to Hollywood to become a famous pop star. Things get a little crazy though when the Yzbot's remote gets switched with the show-controlling remote that belongs to Kuzco.The Puma Whisper: Kuzco finds himself in a jam after he takes credit for scaring off a pack of wild pumas that were about to attack him when it was really Pacha.

  • Malina is stressed out by the preparation for an interview for an internship at the teen magazine Incan Teen. She asks Kronk and Kuzco for help and they decide to teach her how to relax properly.

  • A charity bachelor auction is being held to raise money for charity, and Kuzco, Kronk, and Guaca will all be in it. When Kuzco insults Malina, she bids for Kronk instead to make him jealous. Kuzco then convinces Yata to bid for him to make Malina jealous. Then the four just happen to end up at the same restaurant for their dates, which turns the jealousy fest into an all out battle.

  • The school is holding elections for a new class Vice-President. Mr. Moleguaco tells Kuzco if he runs an election and gets elected, he will pass Government. Kuzco them uses a potion to turn himself in Kronk and try and ruin his reputation.

  • Kuzco is sick of Kronk getting all the attention, so he decides to join the Inca Ball team. However, his personality clashes with his teammates as Kuzco thinks he can win the game all by himself. This causes him to become a ball hog, so the Kuzco Academy team begins to lose every game. When the final, most important game of the season comes around, the entire team quits, and leaves Kuzco to play by himself.

  • Yzma's latest scheme to get rid of Kuzco is a little more simplistic then usual. She decides to just put him in a box and ship him away. When Kronk sets a trap for Kuzco, he also ends up capturing Malina, and shipping them to a deserted island. While Yzma decides to begin her palace remodeling, Kronk heads to the island to save Malina, and maybe Kuzco. In order to stop Kronk from rescuing Kuzco, Yzma heads to the island. Meanwhile, Malina ends up becoming an idol for the monkeys, who do anything she wants. Kuzco then gets them to worship him, but the two end up being sacrifices to their real idol, a giant monkey.

  • After learning that Papa Santaos is real, Kuzco tries to get off of his naughty list so that his wish will be granted to become emperor.

  • Yzma's latest scheme to rule the empire includes turning Kuzco into a puma. She plans to slip the puma potion into Kuzco's Meat Mug since that is the only thing he will eat. However, Kronk refuses to tamper with the recipe, so Yzma breaks into Mudka's and steals the recipe. When Kronk finds out, he and Kuzco head for Major Mudka's hut to get back the secret recipe. At the same time, Kronk and Yata try to get Kuzco to eat healthier.

  • Emperor's New School Spirit: Kuzco gets rid of the school mascot when he starts to outshine Kuzco as the main attraction at school-related events. But when no one will come to the games anymore, Kuzco has to come up with a solution. Meanwhile, Yzma attends her high school reunion and she is still being made fun of like she was when she was in school so she tries to come up with a plan for revenge.Card Wars: Kuzco can't seem to get caught up with the newest, coolest game fads and after trading a valuable game card to Kronk without knowing of its value, he tries to figure out some way to get it back.

  • With the Kuz-Carnival coming up, Kuzco wants to go with Malina so they can go in the tunnel of love. However, she once again turns him down. This time it is because Ramon asked her to go. Kuzco decides to ruin the date., so he shoves Bucky in their popcorn, sprays Ramon with water, and even puts him into a arena with a hungry bear. But will his tricks work?

  • Kuzco's antics at the mall get a policeman fired; a manatee shows up at Malina's door.

  • Yzma tries to take over as empress when the community becomes distracted with the discovery of TV.

  • Demon Llama!: Pacha's llamas accidentally drink Yzma's demon potion when it spills into the river that the llamas drink from after Yzma throws it away and they all turn into demons while Kuzco and Pacha try to herd them.Show Me the Monkey: Kuzco tries to cheat and use a monkey to climb up the side of the Academy after he challenges a strong classmate to the climb.

  • Kronk and Kuzco get jealous when a new kid, Ramon, takes over Kronk's job and steals Malina's attention away from Kuzco.

  • Kuzco goes on a summer beach vacation with Pacha's family; a friend from Kuzco's past shows up and claims he was falsely imprisoned.

  • Malina tries to win a village potato-growing contest; Kuzco, Chaca and Tipo clean their attic bedroom.

  • Kuzco regrets ever wishing that he were never emperor when his wish is granted leaving him in prison and Yzma emporess.

  • Yzma attempts to sabotage the annual Kuzcoween holiday celebration. Later, Kuzco and Kronk join forces to figure out the identity of Malina's secret admirer, who asked her to be his date to the school's costume ball.

  • Malina finally agrees to go out on a real date with Kuzco after he practically drives her insane with asking. But then Kuzco learns that he has had a bride picked for him and that if he marries her he will be immediately named emperor again, he calls the date off to get married. But when his new bride-to-be turns out to be the wrong type of girl for him, Kuzco looks to Yzma for help in getting rid of her. Meanwhile, Yzma begs Kuzco to let her be empress for a day while her mother is in town visiting.

  • Kuzcogarten: While trying to find a way to ruin Kuzco forever, Yzma discovers that Kuzco never fulfilled his Kuzcogarten requirement and has him sent back to take it again. But she still needs to find a way to cause him to fail, so she uses a potion to transform herself into a little girl so that she can convince the other kids to help her. Her plan ends up wreaking havoc on herself in the end though when Kuzco turns out to be great at Kuzcogarten.Evil and Eviler: After realizing that all of her past attempts at failing Kuzco have failed themselves, Yzma hires an Emperor Exterminator named Miss Ni to get rid of Kuzco so that she can finally be made emporess. But when Miss Ni turns out to actually be more evil than Yzma herself, Yzma tries to find a way to give Miss Ni the boot.

  • After showing Kronk a video presentation on how he has caused her past experiments to fail, Yzma fires Kronk leaving him with no place to live. Pacha agrees to take Kronk in, but when Kronk starts to do all of the chores and get all of the attention, Kuzco decides to move out. Kronk won't have this though and while he and Kuzco are fighting over who should go and who should stay, Kronk accidentally falls into a barrel and rolls down a hill causing him to become stranded in the wilderness. Meanwhile, Yzma begins to regret her decision to fire Kronk and sets out to convince him to come back.

  • The New Kid: Kuzco tries to befriend an emperor that transfers to Kuzco Academy.Officer Kronk: Kronk is named hall monitor.

  • When Kuzco hears from Mr. Moleguaco that the town will once again be hosting the annual clash of the families, he is at first worried that he will have no one to compete with if Pacha and his family don't want him on their team. As it turns out, Pacha and his family do want Kuzco to be on their team, but after Kuzco takes something that is said the wrong way, he leaves their team and joins Kronk's. Things seem to be going great, but Kuzco feels a little out of place on his new team and also a little guilty for deserting Pacha's family. After a talk with Malina though, Kuzco decides that he should join Pacha's team again because they treat him like family even though he really isn't.

  • After a video presentation about a past ruler, Micchu Pachu, and how he was poisoned by his advisor and supposedly haunts the remains of his old kingdom as an anteater skeleton by a guest speaker, Mr. Moleguaco announces that the class will be going on an overnight fieldtrip to the ruins of Micchu Pachu. Kuzco, of course, is scared by the idea of going somewhere that's haunted, but he disguises his fear when he begins to get teased. While Kuzco's class makes their way to Micchu Pachu, Yzma is busy hatching up a scheme to scare Kuzco and make him fail the class. When Kuzco's class arrives at Micchu Pachu, they are surprised to discover that it is actually an amusement park, and isn't scary at all. But then Kuzco learns from Kavo that the amusement park isn't the scary part, the scary part is actually the old royal palace, and he dares Kuzco to go in and bring back a picture. Kuzco takes the dare, and when he gets inside the palace, he discovers that there is a scheme behind the whole haunted palace thing, and finds that the operation is just a scam to make a profit.

  • Kuzco's ego needs to be deflated, so Mr. Moleguaco forces him to experience the life of a peasant for a day. Meanwhile, Kronk takes over emperor duties.

  • When Kuzco thinks that he's found a best friend in someone who talks and acts just like him, he soon realizes that it's too good to be true.

  • The Lost Kids: Pacha's kids run away to look for their parents when Kuzco turns out to be a horrible babysitter.The Big Fight: After Kavo can't put up with Kuzco's teasing any longer, he decides to take a stand against Kuzco.

  • Malina develops an identity crisis after being kicked off of the cheer leading squad.

  • Hungry Hungry Llama: After Kuzco takes Chacha's homework to copy it, he gets them both in trouble after a llama, who is actually Kronk disguised as a llama by Yzma, eats it.Only the Wrong Survive: Kuzco goes on a camping trip as a test of survival for school with Malina and Kronk.

  • Empress Malina: Malina is supposed to be Kuzco's date to the dance, but he can't get past the big zit on her nose.The Adventures of Red-Eyed Tree Frog Man: Yzma has Kuzco turned into a frog in the hopes that he will get disected, but to the ancient Incans, he becomes a superhero.

  • Squeakend At Bucky's: When Kuzco fails a test on interpreting squirrel, Mr. Moleguaco orders him to be tutored by a squirrel, Bucky. Things go bad though when Kuzco thinks he killed him, but Yzma has really slipped him a potion.Kuzco Fever: Kuzco wants "royal treatment" so he decides to fake sick.

  • Kuzco will fail PE class unless he wins a race against super-buff Kronk. The bad news is that Yzma has used one of her potions to turn Kuzco into an ugly rabbit!
