The Emperor's New School is an American animated television series that aired on Disney Channel from 2006 to 2008. The show is a spin-off of the hit 2000 Disney movie, The Emperor's New Groove, and follows the adventures of the movie's central character, Emperor Kuzco, as he tries to fulfill his dream of becoming emperor of the world.

The show's plot revolves around Kuzco's attempts to become the greatest emperor of all time despite being a selfish, arrogant, and lazy teenager. However, his plans are constantly thwarted by Principal Amzy, who requires him to pass all his classes before he can be considered for the top job. Kuzco's rival, Yatta, also causes him problems by constantly trying to outdo him in every possible way.

Malina is Kuzco's love interest, and he tries to impress her by performing heroic deeds such as rescuing her from danger or singing her love songs. Despite her initial resistance, Malina eventually falls for Kuzco's charm and becomes his girlfriend.

Mr. Moleguaco is Kuzco's teacher and is constantly trying to impart some wisdom to the young emperor. However, Kuzco often ignores his advice and ends up in trouble.

Guaka is Kuzco's loyal advisor, and he is always there to help him out of difficult situations. Kuzco often turns to Guaka for advice, and he never lets him down.

Bucky is a talking chinchilla who befriends Kuzco after he accidentally turns into a chinchilla. Bucky is always there to offer advice and encouragement to Kuzco, and he helps him get through many difficult situations.

Kuzco's former advisor, Yzma, is also back, and she's as evil as ever. She constantly tries to defeat Kuzco and take over the kingdom, but her plans always backfire.

Kronk is Kuzco's former classmate who is now a shoulder angel. He tries to guide Kuzco to make the right choices, but Kuzco often ignores his advice.

In addition to the main storyline, there are many subplots throughout the series, each one exploring the lives of the various characters in more detail. These subplots range from Kuzco trying to avoid taking a bath to Mr. Moleguaco growing a giant carrot.

The show is notable for its vibrant animation style, which draws heavily from the original movie. The characters are all well-drawn and animated, and the backgrounds are detailed and colorful. Then he demands that Malina become his empress or he will build a store over her house. Kuzco and Malina then decide to seek out a special chalice that will reveal the true heir to the throne.

When Yzma gives Kronk the assignment of disintegrating Kuzco, Kronk consults his shoulder angel and devil. However, the two of them get into another fight and Kronk tells them to go away. With those two gone, Kronk can no longer make decisions. Yzma then captures his shoulder angel in a cage, and gives the shoulder devil back to Kronk. This causes Kronk to agree with everything the devil says, which causes him to try and disintegrate Kuzco.

In order to make things right, Kuzco decides to use Kronk's time-travel watch to go back in time and make things right. Meanwhile, Yzma has put a fly potion in the punch so Kuzco will transform into a fly and she can squash him.

While Yzma decides to begin her palace remodeling, Kronk heads to the island to save Malina, and maybe Kuzco. In order to stop Kronk from rescuing Kuzco, Yzma heads to the island. Meanwhile, Malina ends up becoming an idol for the monkeys, who do anything she wants. Kuzco then gets them to worship him, but the two end up being sacrifices to their real idol, a giant monkey.

Malina immediately jumps into action and starts thinking of ways to raise the money, and finally comes to the conclusion that the best idea will be to put on a school musical. She gets even more excited about this idea when she learns that they will be able to get teen heart-throb Dirk Brock to perform at their musical. But with Kuzco and Yzma causing conflict because they both want to be the star, everyone starts to worry that they might not be able to save the school after all.

At the same time, Kronk and Yata try to get Kuzco to eat healthier.

Aww, Nuts!: After Kuzco places the blame for ruining a feast on Bucky the squirrel, the town decides to have a new day where they will hunt squirrels and then ship them off to far away towns to get rid of them. But when Yzma hears of this, she sees the perfect way to get rid of Kuzco for once and for all by turning him into a squirrel and getting him shipped off for good.
