Ep 26. Surfin' Fred

Fred and Barney head to the beach for a much-needed vacation in the season 5 finale of "The Flintstones" titled "Surfin' Fred." They plan to relax and catch some waves but their dream vacation quickly turns into a nightmare.

When they arrive at the beach, the boys are blown away by the beautiful scenery and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. They are greeted by the friendly owner of the local surf shop who offers to teach them how to surf. Fred jumps at the opportunity but soon realizes that surfing is much harder than it looks.

Despite their setbacks, Fred and Barney are determined to have fun on their vacation. They decide to take a break from surfing and go fishing instead. While out on the boat, they accidentally hook a giant octopus. The octopus takes control of the boat and sends Fred and Barney flying into the water.

Back on shore, Fred and Barney are given a hero's welcome for catching the octopus. They are even invited to a fancy dinner party hosted by The Cool Cats. But things take a turn for the worse when The Cool Cats show their true colors and reveal that they are planning on using the octopus as the main course for their dinner.

Fred and Barney quickly come up with a plan to save the octopus. They enlist the help of the surf shop owner and some other locals to sneak into The Cool Cats' party and rescue the octopus. In the end, they are successful and The Cool Cats are left with nothing but an empty serving dish.

With the octopus safely back in the water, Fred and Barney are finally able to relax and enjoy the remainder of their vacation. They realize that even though they may not be the best surfers or the coolest guys on the beach, they still had a great time and made some new friends along the way.
