In this episode of The Glee Project season 1, titled "Pairability," the remaining contestants are faced with the challenge of proving their ability to perform as a duo. The theme of the week is "tenacity," and the contestants must show their determination to work well with a partner.

The episode opens with the contestants arriving at the studio, where they are greeted by their mentors and judges--Ryan Murphy, Robert Ulrich, and Nikki Anders. The group is split into pairs, and they are tasked with performing a duet of the song "Price Tag" by Jessie J. However, in a twist, the pairs are chosen by the judges, rather than being picked by the contestants themselves.

The pairs are: Cameron and Marissa, McKynleigh and Damian, Matheus and Hannah, and Alex and Lindsay. Each pair is given just a few hours to rehearse their song before they must perform it in front of the judges and a live audience. The mentors and judges watch the rehearsals closely, offering feedback and suggestions for improvement.

In addition to their duet, the contestants are also given a solo performance, which they must deliver on their own. They are each given a choice of two songs, both of which showcase their ability to be tenacious in the face of adversity. The contestants must choose their song carefully, knowing that their performance will be judged just as heavily as their duet.

The next day, the judges and audience gather for the duet performances. Each pair takes the stage, and the judges critique their performances, offering both praise and criticism. Some of the pairs are stronger than others, and the judges are quick to notice when one half of the duo is outshining the other.

After the duets, the contestants deliver their solo performances. This is their chance to show the judges what they are truly capable of as individual performers. One by one, they take the stage, each hoping to impress the judges and secure their place in the competition.

Finally, it is time for the results. The judges huddle together, deliberating over who will be sent home this week. One by one, they call the contestants forward, either praising them for their strengths or criticizing them for their weaknesses. In the end, one contestant is sent home, leaving the others with another week to prove their tenacity and talent.

Overall, "Pairability" is an intense and emotional episode of The Glee Project season 1. From the duet performances to the solo showcases, the contestants are pushed to their limits and tested on their ability to work with others while still shining on their own. It is a tough week, but one that separates the strong from the weak and sets the stage for the rest of the competition.
