Ep 14. You Opened the Door

Beverly Goldberg is miffed when she finds out that her husband Murray's ex-girlfriend is back in town. And to make matters worse, Murray has kept the news of her arrival from Beverly, which only makes the situation more awkward. Meanwhile, Adam and Barry come up with a plan to make some quick cash by selling a series of "Adam Bombs" - customized mixtapes that feature hit songs and original spoken-word poetry. They start out by selling the tapes to their classmates, but their business soon attracts the attention of a rival entrepreneur, who is determined to put them out of business. As the competition heats up, Adam and Barry hatch a plan to outsmart their rival and emerge victorious. Meanwhile, Erica is annoyed when she is forced to babysit her little brother and his friends, but she soon discovers that the kids are more fun than she thought and decides to organize a talent show for them. But with the pressure mounting and the competition getting more intense by the minute, relationships are tested and alliances are formed, and the fate of the Adam Bomb business and the talent show hang in the balance. Will Beverly and Murray be able to resolve their differences and put the past behind them? Will Adam and Barry be able to outsmart their rival and become the kings of the mixtape scene?
