In "The Good Wife" season 6 episode 2 titled "Trust Issues," Alicia Florrick (played by Julianna Margulies) is still dealing with the fallout from her decision to start her own law firm. As she and her partners, Cary Agos (played by Matt Czuchry) and David Lee (played by Zach Grenier) fight to keep their fledgling firm afloat, they face a new challenge when a potential client comes to them with a sensitive case.

The client, a wealthy businessman named Neil Gross (played by guest star John Benjamin Hickey), is the CEO of a tech company and is being sued by a former employee who claims he was fired for being too old. The case would be a big win for Alicia and her team, but there's a catch. Neil Gross is a former client of Lockhart/Gardner, the law firm Alicia used to work for, and he doesn't trust her after she left to start her own firm.

Alicia is forced to confront her past and the mistakes she's made as she tries to win back Gross's trust. Meanwhile, back at Lockhart/Gardner, Diane (played by Christine Baranski) and Cary are working on a case of their own. They're defending the partner of a law firm who is being sued for sexual harassment by his former assistant.

As the two firms go head-to-head, alliances are tested and loyalties are questioned, and Alicia realizes that building a successful law firm isn't just about winning cases, it's about building trust with clients and colleagues alike.

Throughout the episode, Alicia is also grappling with her personal life. Peter (played by Chris Noth), her estranged husband, is running for president, and she's having trouble dealing with his campaign and the inevitable media scrutiny that comes with it. Meanwhile, she's still trying to figure out her relationship with Finn Polmar (played by Matthew Goode), a lawyer she's been dating on and off.

"The Good Wife" season 6 episode 2 is a tense, dramatic installment of the show that highlights the complex relationships between its characters. It's a nuanced exploration of trust, loyalty, and ambition, and it keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with its twists and turns.
