Seattle detectives Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder continue their investigation into the murder of teenager Rosie Larsen in the final episode of The Killing's first season, titled "Beau Soleil."
After developing a suspect in City Councilman Darren Richmond, the detectives focus their attention on the Larsen family's connection to a local Indian casino, which they believe could hold the key to solving the case. Meanwhile, Richmond's campaign for mayor is rocked by a major revelation that could cost him the election.
As Linden and Holder close in on the truth, their personal lives start to unravel. Linden receives a surprise visit from her old boss, who threatens to take her son away if she doesn't return to the Bureau, while Holder's past comes back to haunt him when an old acquaintance from his drug-dealing days shows up looking for a favor.
In the tense and gripping finale, the detectives race against time to solve the case before it's too late. With the clock ticking and the stakes higher than ever, Linden and Holder must navigate a dangerous web of deceit and corruption to finally uncover the truth behind Rosie's murder.
