Ep 19. Package Deal

Doug and Carrie plan to take a trip to Atlantic City for the weekend, and Doug's friend, Deacon, offers to look after their pet dog, Arthur. However, Doug becomes anxious about leaving Arthur behind, and convinces Carrie to let them take Arthur on their trip. When they arrive at their hotel, they discover that pets are not allowed. Desperate to keep Arthur with them, they go to great lengths to sneak him into the hotel, but end up causing a lot of chaos in the process. Meanwhile, back home, Deacon realizes that taking care of Arthur is more difficult than he anticipated, and seeks help from Arthur's dog walker.

As Doug and Carrie struggle to keep Arthur hidden in the hotel, they encounter a series of mishaps that threaten to ruin their weekend getaway. In one hilarious scene, they try to smuggle Arthur into their room by hiding him in a suitcase, but end up getting caught by the hotel staff. They meet a group of pet owners who are also sneaking their animals into the hotel, and decide to team up with them to create a makeshift pet hospital in their hotel room.

Back at home, Deacon and Holly have a heart-to-heart about their different approaches to dog walking, and Deacon learns to appreciate Holly's enthusiasm and love for animals. He also realizes that he has neglected Arthur's need for exercise and playtime, and makes a heartfelt apology to his friend for not being a better caretaker.

In the end, Doug and Carrie return home with Arthur, exhausted but happy to have had a successful and fun weekend. They also realize that they have a newfound appreciation for their friend Deacon, who went above and beyond to take care of Arthur while they were away.
