Ep 23. S'no Job

Doug, like most men, enjoys a nice evening on the couch with his favorite snacks, but he takes his love of junk food to a whole new level when he is asked to temporarily fill in at his sister's job at IPS while she is on maternity leave. Realizing that he will have access to all the snacks in the vending machine at work, Doug jumps at the chance to take on the gig and immediately begins to indulge in all of his favorite junk foods.

However, this new job also comes with a host of new responsibilities, as Doug quickly finds out when he has trouble operating the trolley and accidentally causes a spill at a client's office. In order to make things right, Doug sets out to clean up the mess himself, but things quickly spiral out of control when the cleaning solution he uses ends up causing even more damage to the carpet.

Meanwhile, Carrie is thinking about getting a fancy new hairstyle, but she quickly learns that her hair salon's stylist is a little too eager to try out new and experimental looks on her clients. Unsure if she is willing to take the risk of having a radically different hairstyle, Carrie decides to turn to Deacon's advice on how to deal with the situation.

As Doug struggles to figure out how to fix the mess he has made at work, the IPS guys debate the merits of various junk foods, with each of them trying to one-up each other with their most ridiculous and unhealthy snack choices. When Carrie returns home with her new hairstyle, Doug is too consumed with his vending machine-fueled snack binge to even notice the difference in her appearance, leaving Carrie feeling unappreciated and ignored.

As the episode progresses, Doug tries his best to make amends with both his coworkers and Carrie, but he finds that it is not always easy to repair the damage caused by his carelessness and his love of snacks. In the end, he learns that sometimes the best thing to do is simply own up to your mistakes and make a genuine effort to fix them.
