Ep 13. Frigid Heirs

After a long day at work, Doug comes home to find his wife, Carrie, in a strange mood. As it turns out, Carrie has been feeling increasingly anxious about her inheritance from her aunt, which is set to be split amongst her and her four cousins. However, after her aunt dies, Carrie learns that the majority of the money will be going to her cousins and not her.

Feeling slighted and frustrated, Carrie begins to obsess over the situation and decides to confront her cousins about the will. She enlists the help of Doug and his friend Deacon, who is also going through a similar situation with his own inheritance.

The three of them attend a family gathering and Carrie wastes no time in bringing up the will. However, her cousins are not interested in discussing the matter and tensions quickly rise. As the night progresses, Carrie's frustration reaches a boiling point and she ends up causing a scene, causing everyone to leave the party.

Feeling embarrassed and ashamed, Carrie confides in Doug and decides to seek the advice of their neighbor, Arthur. Arthur suggests that she visit a therapist to help her deal with her emotions.

Meanwhile, Doug and Deacon hatch a plan to get revenge on their own relatives for withholding their inheritances. They decide to hire a lawyer to contest the will and try to get a larger share of the money.

As the tension between the families escalates, Carrie attends therapy and begins to realize that her obsession with the inheritance is rooted in her own insecurities and fears. She realizes that the money is not worth sacrificing her relationships with her family.

In the end, the families come to a resolution and Carrie learns to let go of her anger and resentment. She realizes that her relationships with her family are more important than any amount of money and she feels a sense of peace knowing that she can move forward with her life.
