Ep 5. Peacekeepers

The Legend of Korra Season 2 Episode 5 "Peacekeepers" sees Korra and her team travel to the Southern Water Tribe, where they are met with unrest and chaos. Bumi is an old friend of Korra's, and he is still reeling from the fact that she chose Iroh over him to be the general. The two men continue to butt heads as they try to work together to bring peace to the Southern Water Tribe.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that Unalaq has his own agenda. He tries repeatedly to sway Korra to his side, even going so far as to use the spirits against her. Meanwhile, the rebels continue to clash with the Southern Water Tribe government, and it seems as though violence is inevitable.

In the climactic final scene of the episode, Korra and her team put their plan into action. They work together with Iroh and Bumi to create a ceasefire between the two factions. In doing so, they manage to diffuse the situation and bring some semblance of peace to the Southern Water Tribe.
