As the trip enters it's final phase, the crew lands in Bulgaria to the warmest (albeit wettest) reception of the tour. Then back to Greece, where the boys go to work on Athens' marble with enough hammers to make the Pantheon jealous. Best of all, in between ports, the top deck of the ship is a perfect skate spot with ever changing vistas.

Turkey delivers the trip's best sessions so far, with more time to explore. Izmir provides some proper transition skating at the local park, and 2 days in Istanbul gives the crew a chance to look for bigger street spots. Hyped on what they find, the crew steps up and gets busy in the land of the Byzantines.

The first leg of the Mediterranean Skate Cruise sets off from Rome and travels to Savona and Mykonos. With only hours to spend at each port, the sessions are fast paced and fully improvisational. Savona’s ancient architecture gets some fresh use, and the white-washed streets of Mykonos provide the picturesque backdrop for a killer gap session.
