Ep 6. Caramel Princess Time

Mindy Lahiri is back in action in season 3 of The Mindy Project, and in episode 6, entitled "Caramel Princess Time," she's looking to spice things up in her love life. Mindy has always been a bit of a romantic, but things have been rocky ever since her ex-boyfriend Casey left for Haiti. She's been seeing other guys, but nothing seems to be working out.

In this episode, Mindy decides it's time to take matters into her own hands and goes out on a limb by asking out Danny, her coworker and friend. Danny is surprised by the unexpected request, but doesn't necessarily say no. Mindy can't contain her excitement and decides to go on a shopping spree to try and impress Danny.

Meanwhile at work, Mindy must deal with her nemesis, Tamra, when they are put in charge of organizing the office Halloween party. Tamra, who would rather be doing karaoke, insists on a "Caramel Princess Time" theme, which Mindy sees as a slap in the face to her Indian heritage. Despite her initial resistance, Mindy eventually finds a way to embrace the theme and create an unforgettable experience for everyone.

With the Halloween party on the horizon, Mindy is determined to impress Danny and make this date one to remember. Her wardrobe choices are bold and daring, but will they be enough to capture Danny's attention? As the night wears on, Mindy and Danny's chemistry becomes apparent, but will they have the courage to take the next step and make things official?

Through all of the drama and hilarity, Mindy learns an important lesson about celebrating who she is and not letting anyone else define her.
