Mindy is back in the dating game and it seems that every guy she meets is a total disappointment. She confides in her friends, Morgan and Tamra, who suggest she might be making some mistakes with her "must haves" list for her perfect man. Mindy tries to be more open-minded, but still struggles with finding a guy she truly connects with. Meanwhile, Jody is still struggling with his feelings for Mindy and decides to take a break from their friendship to gain some perspective. He ends up bonding with Jeremy, who is also experiencing relationship problems with his girlfriend, Whitney. As they commiserate over drinks, Jeremy discovers a shocking secret about Whitney that may change everything. Meanwhile, Colette and Karen try to set up Tamra with a handsome and successful doctor, but Tamra has her doubts about his intentions. As Mindy continues to navigate the dating world, she starts to realize that maybe her perfect match has been standing right in front of her all along.
