Ep 6. Complications

Dr. Grace Devlin has been living a dangerous double life since she accepted the deal offered by Chicago's Southside mob boss, Constantine Alexander. As a skilled surgeon, she does her job at Chicago's Roosevelt Medical Center during the day, and at night, she works for the ruthless mafia, treating their wounded. However, as time goes by, Grace gets deeper and deeper into the mob world, and she realizes that things are not as easy as they seem.

In episode 6, titled "Complications," Grace faces yet another challenging situation when a young patient, Donte, is brought into the ER with a serious gunshot wound. As it turns out, Donte has a rare blood type, and there is no time to waste in finding a donor. Grace calls in all her favors and connections, and finally, the hospital is able to locate a suitable donor. However, just when things seem to be looking up, the donor disappears from the hospital without giving blood, leaving Grace to scramble to find another option.

As if that wasn't enough of a problem, Grace also has to deal with a serious complication with her brother, Nate, who has been missing ever since he took off with his girlfriend after robbing a bank. Finally, Nate gets in touch with Grace, but he's in dire need of medical attention and can't go to a hospital for fear of getting caught. Grace has to perform emergency surgery on Nate, but she realizes that she may have taken on more than she can handle when Nate starts experiencing complications.

Meanwhile, Grace's relationship with Constantine is becoming more strained as he becomes increasingly paranoid and irrational, putting Grace and her patients in danger. Grace knows that she needs to find a way to get out of the deal, but she's not sure how to do it without putting herself and her family in danger.

With both Donte and Nate's lives hanging in the balance, Grace has to use all her medical and survival skills to navigate these tricky situations. Will she come out unscathed, or will she finally face the consequences of living a double life? Find out in episode 6 of The Mob Doctor.
