Ep 2. Chocolate Louboutins

In the second episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 1, titled Chocolate Louboutins, we dive deeper into the lives of the glamorous housewives. We see them in their luxurious homes, shopping in high-end boutiques, attending social events and engaging in some petty drama.

The episode starts with Adrienne Maloof, the wealthiest of the housewives, showing off her lavish mansion and her love for shoes. She introduces us to her personal shoe stylist, who assists her in deciding which shoes to wear for an event she is hosting. She opts for a stunning pair of chocolate Louboutins which she pairs with an elegant black dress.

Meanwhile, Taylor Armstrong, a self-proclaimed gold digger, brags about her luxurious lifestyle but is also shown struggling with her marriage to her older, rich husband Russell. We see her confiding in her friend about her marital issues and how she wants to be more independent. The rest of the women speculate on the authenticity of Taylor's marriage and her intentions.

Later on, the ladies are invited to an exclusive boutique for an extravagant shopping experience. The owner of the store rolls out the red carpet for them and offers them champagne and chocolates while they shop. Kyle Richards, a budding actress, sparks a rivalry with Camille Grammer, a former actress and now a full-time housewife, over who knows more famous actors. The tension and cattiness continue when Kyle buys a pair of boots that Camille had her eye on.

In the next scene, Lisa Vanderpump, a posh restauranteur, takes her husband Ken to a Brazilian wax appointment. The couple has a lot of banter and jokes around throughout the procedure, adding some humorous relief to the episode.

Later on, the women attend Adrienne's event where they are introduced to her line of Maloof Hoof shoes. We see the ladies mingling and gossiping but things take a turn when a comment about Taylor's marriage is made. This leads to a heated argument between her and Camille, who accuses Taylor of being fake and insincere.

Towards the end of the episode, we see the ladies at Kyle's dinner party where she has invited actor Cedric Martineze, Lisa's former houseguest who had overstayed his welcome. The guests are awkwardly trying to make conversation when the subject of Cedric's time at Lisa's house comes up. This leads to a tense confrontation between Lisa and Cedric, and the episode ends on a cliffhanger.

Overall, the episode is full of drama, catfights, and luxurious indulgences. The housewives of Beverly Hills bring their A-game in terms of fashion and lifestyle, but also showcase their insecurities and struggles within their relationships.
