Ep 4. Diss-Invite

The Real Housewives of New York City season 5 episode 4, titled "Diss-Invite," follows the feisty ladies of the Big Apple as they navigate social events and drama. In this episode, the women are gearing up for a charity event being held at Heather's home, which is being catered by none other than Chef Roblé. However, tensions rise when Ramona decides to rescind her invitation to the event from Heather. Heather is naturally upset and confused, but Ramona insists that it was a simple mistake.

Meanwhile, Aviva is still adjusting to life as a housewife, and decides to take some time to bond with her teenage daughter, who is dealing with her own struggles as a young adult in New York City. Aviva invites the other ladies to her apartment for a night of girl talk, but things quickly turn sour when Sonja reveals that she is offended that Aviva referred to her as "C-list" during a previous conversation. The rest of the ladies try to diffuse the situation, but tensions continue to run high.

In addition to the drama surrounding the charity event and Aviva's party, Carole meets up with her ex-boyfriend, who is in town for a book launch. The two share a few drinks and reminisce about their past relationship, but Carole ultimately decides that they are better off as friends.

As always with The Real Housewives of New York City, drama is the name of the game in "Diss-Invite". The ladies are constantly jockeying for power and attention, and this episode is no exception. However, there are also moments of vulnerability and tenderness, particularly in Aviva's relationship with her daughter and Carole's reflections on her past. All in all, fans of the franchise will not be disappointed with this episode.
