Ep 13. Maddie On Deck

Maddie On Deck is the 13th episode of the first season of the popular Disney Channel show, The Suite Life On Deck.

In this episode, Maddie Fitzpatrick (played by Ashley Tisdale) makes a surprise visit to the S.S. Tipton. She's on spring break from the Boston cooking school she's attending, and decides to take a detour to visit her friends, Zack and Cody Martin (played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse), who she used to work with at the Tipton Hotel.

However, upon arriving on the ship, Maddie quickly realizes that her friends have moved on and are enjoying life on the high seas. Zack and Cody are busy with new friends and new adventures, and have very little time for her. Feeling left out and lonely, Maddie decides to get back into the workforce and apply for a job on the ship.

Meanwhile, London Tipton (played by Brenda Song) is busy planning a surprise party for her dog, Ivana. She enlists the help of Bailey Pickett (played by Debby Ryan) and Woody Fink (played by Matthew Timmons) to help her throw the most lavish party the ship has ever seen. However, things start to go wrong when Woody tries to make an expensive cake and the ship's budget mysteriously disappears.

As Maddie starts her new job as a waitress on the ship, she begins to feel like she's found her calling. She enjoys interacting with the guests and serving them food, and it's clear that her cooking school education has paid off. However, her happy feeling is short-lived when she realizes that the guests are taking advantage of her kindness, and she's running herself ragged trying to fulfill all of their requests.

Determined to keep her job and prove that she's a valuable addition to the ship's crew, Maddie comes up with a plan to show the guests that she's in charge. With the help of her friends, she stages a fake fight where she pretends to fire Zack and Cody. The guests quickly realize that they need the Martin twins, and apologize to Maddie for taking her for granted.

Meanwhile, London's party planning has hit a snag when she realizes that the cake Woody made has turned into a disaster. However, Bailey comes up with a brilliant idea to save the day, and Ivana's party is a huge success.

At the end of the episode, Maddie decides to stay on the ship and continue working as a waitress. She feels like she's found her true calling, and is enjoying her new job. Zack and Cody are happy to have her on board, and the group is back together again.
