Rick and his group are still recovering from their recent ordeal, but they're forced to face a difficult reality in "Now", the fifth episode of season six of The Walking Dead. Alexandria has been damaged, and there are a number of problems that need to be resolved before the community can start rebuilding. As a result, episode five is all about seeing characters doing their best to get back on their feet after dealing with a series of challenges.

The Walking Dead season 6 episode 5, "Now", begins with Alexandria in shambles. Deanna's death is a fresh loss, and Sasha is having a hard time coping with her grief. At the same time, some of the people in Alexandria are starting to realize how fragile their community is. Rick is trying to help out, but he's still grappling with the recent attack by the Wolves. Aaron is also struggling with his sense of responsibility, as he feels that he brought the attackers into Alexandria.

In "Now", Maggie begins to take a leadership role in the community, as she helps to organize the recovery efforts. She works with others to collect supplies, clear debris, and start rebuilding the damaged houses. However, not everyone is comfortable with Maggie's newfound activism. Spencer, Deanna's son, isn't sure that he's ready to commit to helping out, and he worries that Maggie is pushing too hard. Meanwhile, Carol is dealing with her own set of problems.

As the episode progresses, we see the different survivors of Alexandria dealing with their own issues. Denise, the group's new doctor, is struggling to come to terms with her new role. She doesn't feel like she's up to the task of dealing with serious injuries, and she's worried that she'll make a mistake that could cost someone their life. Tara, on the other hand, is still recovering from her injuries, but she's hopeful that she'll be able to contribute to the rebuilding efforts soon.

One of the most interesting storylines in "Now" revolves around Ron, Jessie's son. He's a troubled teenager who seems to be going through some sort of personal crisis. Ron is angry at Rick for killing his father, and he's having trouble coping with the fact that his mother is dead. He also seems to be developing a bit of an obsession with Carl. His behavior is worrisome, and some of the other characters are starting to take notice.

As the episode draws to a close, we see that Alexandria is slowly starting to recover. The survivors are working hard to rebuild their homes, and they're beginning to come to terms with the reality of their situation. However, it's clear that they have a long road ahead of them. The episode ends on a somewhat hopeful note, as the characters try to come together and move forward.

Overall, "Now" is an emotional episode that deals with themes of loss, recovery, and resilience. The Walking Dead season 6 episode 5 is a sobering reminder that even in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, life goes on. While there are plenty of action sequences and tense moments, the heart of this episode is the characters themselves. Each one of them is dealing with their own struggles, and they're doing their best to keep moving forward, even when the future looks bleak.
