The Wedding Scheme is a romantic comedy drama from South Korea which premiered in 2012. Produced by CJ Entertainment, it stars Kang Hye-jung in the lead role along with Lee Kyu-han, Lee Min-woo, Park Min-woo and Kim Se-jung. Kang Hye-jung plays the role of a young and ambitious wedding planner, Lee Se-na, who is exceptional at her job. She has made a name for herself in the industry due to her impeccable planning and execution, and her clients trust her completely to make their weddings a success. But her success has also made her arrogant and self-centered, and she doesn't have time for relationships or love. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets her new client, Go Dong-shik, played by Lee Kyu-han.

Go Dong-shik is a successful businessman who has made a fortune by creating a trendy restaurant chain that caters to young people. But when he is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to fulfill his long-standing wish of getting married before he dies. He approaches Lee Se-na to plan his wedding, and she takes on the challenge, thinking it will be just like any other wedding she has planned before.

But things take a twist when Go Dong-shik reveals that he doesn't have a bride yet and asks Lee Se-na to find him one. Initially, she is shocked and dismisses the idea, but soon realizes that it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to prove her skills and make a lot of money. She agrees to the plan but quickly realizes that finding a bride who would agree to marry a dying man for money isn't going to be easy.

Despite the challenges, Lee Se-na is determined to make the wedding happen, and she hatches a plan to find a suitable bride by holding auditions. She recruits her friend, Kim Yoon-ji, played by Kim Se-jung, to help her organize the auditions, and they come up with different schemes to attract young women to participate. The auditions are a huge success, and they find three potential brides who agree to participate in the wedding scheme.

But the road to the wedding isn't smooth, and Lee Se-na faces several challenges as she tries to keep the wedding plan a secret from Go Dong-shik's family and the media. She also starts to develop feelings for him, and even though she knows that their relationship can never have a future, she can't help but be drawn to him.
