The Whole Truth is a suspenseful drama, presenting the legal and criminal facts of a case, both from the prosecution and the defense standpoint. Victims and defendants wait helplessly to learn their fate, while the drama allows viewers to get a behind the scenes view of the legal process that can prove innocence or guilt, often built on dramatic and shifting points of view. With lives in the balance the accused innocence or guilt often shifts through a series of dramatic events involving legal maneuvering and sparring with other lawyers, legal teams and judges in the court room, and also outside of it.

Evidence, such as witness accounts, and other criminal evidence secures guilt, while lack thereof may mean not guilty. All facts are tied together by the end of the show, proving guilt or innocence, impacting lives of victims and defendants, one way or the other.
