Jack's Tattoo is the sixteenth episode of the eighth season of the classic sitcom Three's Company, which originally aired on February 12, 1984. The show follows the lives of three young flatmates in Santa Monica: Jack Tripper, Janet Wood, and Chrissy Snow; or, later on in the show, Cindy Snow and Terri Alden.

In this episode, Jack (played by John Ritter) is excitedly preparing for a date with his girlfriend Lorraine. He's hoping that tonight will be the night that they take their relationship to the next level. Jack is feeling particularly confident, having recently gotten a new tattoo on his chest that he believes will impress Lorraine. He's even willing to show it to his roommates and friends.

The tattoo, of course, turns out to be a disaster. It's an unflattering cartoon of a woman in a bikini that looks like it was drawn by a five-year-old. Janet (Joyce DeWitt), Chrissy (Suzanne Somers), Cindy (Jenilee Harrison), and Terri (Priscilla Barnes) are all horrified by the tattoo, and they don't hesitate to tell Jack how terrible it is. Jack is stunned that his friends don't appreciate his new ink.

Complicating matters is the fact that Jack's boss Mr. Furley (Don Knotts) has agreed to let the Tripper and Furley plumbing business be the main sponsor of a local beauty pageant. Jack was in charge of designing the ad for the pageant, but due to a mix-up, he accidentally used a photo of Lorraine in the ad instead of the model who was hired to do the shoot. As a result, Furley is furious, and Jack is on the hook for coming up with a new ad quickly.

With all of this going on, Jack is feeling more and more anxious about his date with Lorraine. He's worried that his tattoo will turn her off and that he won't be able to impress her. His roommates offer to help him by giving him a makeover, but their efforts only make things worse. Finally, Jack confesses to Lorraine that he has the tattoo, and she surprises him with her reaction.

Throughout the episode, there are plenty of comedic hijinks and misunderstandings, as is typical for Three's Company. But there are also some moments of real heart, as the characters navigate their relationships and try to support each other through their trials and tribulations.

Overall, Jack's Tattoo is a fun and entertaining episode of Three's Company that showcases the show's signature blend of humor and heart. Fans of the show will enjoy seeing the characters in action and may even find themselves feeling a little nostalgic for the simpler times of the 1980s.
