Timeslip is a science-fiction show first broadcasted in the United Kingdom in 1970. The series is produced by ATV and has a total of 26 episodes, with each episode running for approximately 25 minutes. ITV Global Entertainment Ltd. presently distributes the series.

The show follows the adventures of Simon and Liz, two young teenagers that discover an unusual and mysterious portal through time. After they enter a certain location in the wild, they suddenly find themselves entering a strange and different world. The teens travel through time, and they encounter various people from different ages and learn to work together to overcome challenges.

Throughout the series, Simon and Liz travel not only in time but also in space, experiencing a world beyond what they originally knew. They try to uncover the mysteries and answer the questions of science and the universe that they suddenly encounter. Every episode features different historical periods and scientific concepts, including time travel, parallel universes, ESP, and artificial intelligence.

The series features a small cast of minor characters, including Derek Benfield as the suspicious "Clive Conway," Denis Quilley as "Frank Skinner," and Cheryl Burfield as "Polly." The two young protagonists are portrayed by Spencer Banks and Iris Russell.

Spencer Banks portrays Simon Randall, the protagonist of Timeslip. Simon is a confident and curious boy who is always up for any adventure. He is extremely intelligent, and his intelligence helps him to explore and discover the amazing mysteries of time travel. Simon's character is a typical boy of the 1970s, with a kind and caring heart always ready to help people.

The show's other protagonist, Elizabeth "Liz" Skinner, is played by Iris Russell. Liz is Simon's partner in all their adventures through time, an intelligent and ambitious young girl full of curiosity and energy. Unlike Simon's adventurous nature, Liz is more subdued and cautious, often reminding Simon to take more precautions. She is the logical and rational partner to Simon's impulsive nature.

The series features many unique episodes, including "The Year of the Burn Up," which follows Simon and Liz as they become stuck in a parallel universe where they witness a world-ending event taking place. In "The Missing Piece," the duo becomes aware of an unknown optical memory film that could change the course of human history. The series shows Simon and Liz facing various challenges and dangers throughout their journey, including kidnapped scientists, foreign spies, and even a haunted church.

Overall, Timeslip is a classic British science fiction show that blends scientific concepts and adventurous storytelling. The show is an excellent choice for anyone interested in a retro-style adventure experience that is fun and entertaining. With a compelling and intelligent cast of characters, clever and engaging scripts, and a range of exciting concepts, Timeslip is a unique and entertaining addition to the genre of science fiction.

Timeslip is a series that is currently running and has 1 seasons (17 episodes). The series first aired on September 28, 1970.
