Ep 4. Cooking by the Numbers

In Top Chef season 3 episode 4 titled "Cooking by the Numbers", the chefs are challenged to create dishes based on numbers. The Quickfire Challenge requires the chefs to make a dish using a specified number of ingredients, ranging from 4 to 12. The judges, including host Padma Lakshmi and renowned chefs Tom Colicchio and guest judge David Burke, taste each team's dishes and evaluate them based on taste, creativity, and execution. The winning team receives immunity from elimination in the next challenge while the losing team faces the dreaded elimination round.

Throughout the episode, tensions rise as the chefs struggle to work together and overcome the limitations of their assigned numbers. Some chefs shine with creative solutions while others struggle to come up with dishes that meet the requirements of the challenge.
