Total Body Sculpt with Gilad is a program featuring, fitness expert, Gilad Janklowicz. The show is videotaped in Hawaii against the beautiful Pacific Ocean and mountain landscapes. The show provides easy to follow low impact exercises designed to target various muscles of the body. Gilad is energetic and gives clear instruction on exercise execution. Each exercise is demonstrated in a rhythmic fashion by Gilad and several other fitness trainers dress in slick workout attire designed to accent their perfect physiques and provide motivation for students who exercise in the convenience of their own homes.

While movements may target specific muscle groups, exercises often involve secondary muscle groups that work to a lesser degree. This is especially beneficial due to the fact that the human body normally works in this fashion. This method used by Gilad also promotes additional calorie burning benefits to students who follow the program. Exercises featuring the large muscles of the lower body are repeated for several minutes with brief rest breaks between sets. Exercises designed for the smaller muscles of the arms and shoulders are done in a single fashion that encourages concentration on form and technique. Arm exercises are also completed by alternating bicep and triceps movements. This allows opposing muscle groups to relax while the other muscle group works, preventing dead space in the program and keeping the student on task.

Total Body Sculpt also features short interval aerobic segments that provide instruction on popular box aerobics. Movements are clearly explained. Movements are challenging for advanced fitness students but are easy enough for novice participants to understand. Upbeat music helps the student to stay motivated and remain within the rhythm of the movement. Actual exercise time is approximately 20 to 25 minutes in length. Fitness levels differ from person to person. Therefore students should learn to modify exercises for their level of comfort and ability.
