Ep 1. May the Giant Be with You

The second season of Twin Peaks starts with episode 1 titled "May the Giant Be with You". The opening scene introduces Agent Cooper, who is lying on the floor with a gunshot wound. Elsewhere, Nadine is recovering from her suicide attempt at the hospital and seems to have developed superhuman strength. She rips out the arm of her hospital bed and announces that she is in love with Mike, one of the attendees at the cabin meeting.

The episode ends with Benjamin Horne discovering his daughter's diary, which reveals that Laura was involved in some shady activities, including drug abuse and prostitution. The discovery shocks Ben and leaves him wondering what else he may not know about his daughter.
