Ep 6. Tornado!

In episode 6 of season 2 of `United States of Tara`, titled "Tornado!", we see the Gregsons brace for a major storm that is approaching their town. Tara, who has been well-behaved for some time, starts to feel her alters resurfacing as a result of the stress. Meanwhile, Charmaine is trying to get Tara to sign a release to allow her to sell the family property, which causes some tension between the sisters.

The episode opens with Tara and Max preparing for the storm. Tara is anxious and nervous, which leads to Bryce, one of her alters, appearing. Bryce is a very confident and seductive alter, and he tries to make a move on Max. Max is taken aback and becomes worried that Tara's alters are starting to take over again. Tara is not aware of Bryce's appearance, and Max decides to keep it from her. However, he confides in Dr. Hattaras, who is concerned about Tara's mental state.

Elsewhere, Charmaine is trying to convince Tara to sign a release to allow her to sell the family property. However, Tara is hesitant, as the house holds a lot of memories for her. She remembers her alters expressing their desire to stay in the house, and is worried that she may lose control if they are forced to move. This leads to some tension between the sisters, as Charmaine accuses Tara of being irresponsible and not thinking about the future.

As the storm gets worse, Tara's alters begin to appear more frequently. T, a teenage alter, shows up, and is very excited about the storm. She convinces the family to play a game of "Truth or Dare", which leads to some embarrassing revelations. When Tara's son, Marshall, is dared to kiss his crush, he ends up kissing his best friend instead, which leads to some confusion about his sexuality.

Meanwhile, Buck, a male alter, appears and causes some trouble when he tries to help Max fix a leaky roof. Buck's cowboy attitude clashes with Max's more reserved personality, and the two end up arguing. This leads to Max realizing that he needs to confront Tara about her alters and find a way to help her control them.

In the aftermath of the storm, the family is relieved that they made it through unscathed. However, Tara is worried about her alters, and decides to confide in Dr. Hattaras about Bryce's appearance. Dr. Hattaras explains that it is normal for alters to resurface in times of stress, and reassures Tara that she can continue to work on controlling them.

The episode ends with Max and Tara having a heart-to-heart, where Max expresses his concern about her mental state. Tara acknowledges that she needs to work on controlling her alters, and thanks Max for his support. The episode ends with the family sitting down to watch a movie together, as they try to restore some normalcy to their lives.
