Watch VSpot Top 20 Countdown
VSpot Top 20 Countdown is a weekly television program on VH-1. Additionally, and with over nine-hundred episodes under its belt, it is the longest-running music program of any television channel. The premise of the show is to serve as a weekly showcase of the twenty leading music videos based on a combination of sales, airplay, videos, comments on message boards, letters, and even online voting through VH-1's VSPOT online outlet. While the show is currently hosted by Jim Shearer, it has had a variety of hosts over the years, including Jenna Lewis, Rachel Perry, Matt Pinfield, Aamar Haleem, and Alison Becker.
A tradition of the show, that was recently retired, was the notion of a "20/20 Club," reserved for videos that had aired for 20 consecutive weeks. While videos can now be shown for as long as they continue to stay on the charts, videos that were added to the 20/20 Club would no longer be aired on the program in order to make way for newer content. A few examples of 20/20 Club songs include: Natalie Imbrulgia's "Torn," Sheryl Crow's "My Favorite Mistake," Smash Mouth's "Walking on the Sun," and Ricky Martin's "Living La Vida Loca."
